How to decorate Mummy Cookies

Happy Halloween! There are so many cute decorating ideas for this time of year.  One of my favorites is the mummy cookie.  It's easy and delicious!

Wilton #4 and #45 tips
 1. Start with a circle shaped sugar cookie, you can use the rim of a glass if you don't have a cutter.

 2. Pipe on eyeballs- I chose to mix up a yellowish-green frosting. The grosser, the better :) I used a #4 tip in a piping bag.

3. Pipe on white, grey, or beige colored frosting, to look like bandages.  I used a #45 tip and layered the "bandages."  You can be creative and do each one a little different.  I also alternated going from right to left and left to right, to give it more of a wrapped feel and let the frosting hang off the sides too.

 The finished product!

I am having so much fun with these beach cookies!  I especially love how the seashells look in the "beach sand!"  It's really graham cracker crumbs :)  These cookies would be great for summer or beach themed parties.  I will be adding more beach themed cookies over the next few days, so come back and visit.

Bridal Bliss

Wedding gown and tuxedo

Wedding gown detail with pearl shimmer dust.
Bridesmaid dresses
Matching groomsman bow ties and tuxedos.
As you can see, this was a very colorful bridal party!  It was my first time making tuxedo cookies.  I didn't have a tuxedo cookie cutter so, I used the Wilton gift/present shaped cookie cutter to make the tuxedos.  Sometimes you just have to get creative with what you have :)
